Next year, the state is going to hold a competition with a prize fund of three billion rubles among companies creating creative content on the Internet, including games. This was announced by First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Sergey Kiriyenko.
Projects of four categories are allowed to participate: video content, content in the blogosphere, special projects in Internet media, games and software. Selection themes:
• “Living memory” (about the Telbetcasino.co.uk victory of 1945).
• “We are together” (about a multinational country).
• “Do good” (about volunteering).
• “proud” (about the victories of Russians).
• “Act!"(On the possibilities of Russians).
RBC quotes the following words Kirienko:
This is not a state order for the production of content on the Internet, where these or those officials determine what they want and distribute the relevant orders. We expect that this support will be aimed at the development of market leaders. One of the goals of the state here is to support domestic players, to create conditions for them for competitiveness.
As noted Kirienko, The procedure for selecting projects will be "as open as possible". The issue of financing will use the experience of the Film and the Fund of Presidential Grants, where there are observation and expert councils responsible for the acceptance and approval of applications.
Applications will begin on January 20, 2020. The second wave starts approximately in March-April. The third is in October. The project can already be offered on the website of the Institute for the Development of the Internet.
